The Harken 35.2STA aluminium winch is one of the small self-tailing two speed winch from its range, offering maximum performance and power while under load even on the harshest conditions while afloat. Built from a strong and durable alloy the Harken 35 winch is the right choice for sailing enthusiasts looking after power and durability in a small package.

The shape of the drum is specially designed to reduce line wear while under load, featuring diagonal ribs for maximum grip and performance. The award winning mechanism ,in our view, makes it very easy even for a single crew member to trim or raise sails.

When easing, the angle of the ribs stops line from rising, preventing overrides and gives a smooth, controlled release as the line exits the winch. This Harken aluminium winches are both high-strength and lightweight saving between 25 to 50 percent on weight compared to other Harken classic winch lines due to the composite self-tailing jaws and skirt.

Adjustable stripper arm moulded into the winch top, covers the winch entirely, providing a safer operation and preventing fingers and clothing from catching in moving parts while it can easily be adjusted to various positions to optimize the line exit.

The Composite roller bearings of this Harken 35 dual speed winch reduces the friction when under load and don’t require lubrication. The load-carrying gears and pins are 17-4 PH made of stainless steel for added strength and corrosion resistance.
